The lithium battery protection board of an electric vehicle can provide overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, current protection, short circuit protection, temperature protection and other functions for the battery of the car. The protection board of the lithium battery is the bridge between the car battery and the outside world, and determines the utilization rate of the battery. The lithium-ion batteries widely used in electric vehicles have good thermal stability and safety performance and are reasonably priced. Electric vehicles use batteries as a power source. At present, the new national standard electric vehicles use lithium batteries as a power source for vehicles, which has become a new trend in the future development of electric vehicles. Compared with the lead-acid batteries of the past, the energy that lithium-ion batteries can store will not decrease at any temperature. Electric vehicles using lithium-ion batteries have a longer driving distance, the life of electric vehicles is longer than that of lead-acid batteries, and the battery is smaller in size.

The protection board of lithium iron phosphate battery pack is necessary. The protection board circuit can detect the voltage and current of each battery in the series lithium ion battery pack respectively, and control the charge and discharge process of the battery pack. When the voltage of each battery in the lithium iron phosphate battery is between the overcharge detection voltage and the over-discharge detection voltage, and there is no short circuit in the output, the MOS tube is turned on, and P+ and P- output the battery pack voltage, allowing the lithium ion battery pack to perform charge and discharge operations.

Wiring precautions:
1. Installing the protective board requires a certain amount of technical electronic knowledge.
2. When wiring, first connect the B- wire at the soldering pad position to the total negative terminal of the battery (the B- wire should be soldered to a short and thick wire) and solder the wired terminal to the battery pack first, and then insert the protective plate.
3. The connection between the battery terminal B- and the protection board terminal B- should be short and thick, otherwise it will cause the protection board to charge and discharge in advance and malfunction.

4. You need to use thick wires when wiring P+/P-. Wires that are too thin and too long will burn the board!
